My style is city preppy. I'm from the south, so it's hard to take the preppiness out of the way I dress. If I could dress like a 14yr old prep school boy I would. I love a little bit of tomboy

I'm curious about her 19th-century wax seal necklace, but you can't even see it in the photo. I think Urban Weeds always goes a little overboard with listing what the people are wearing. What's the point of saying her earrings are Melissa Joy Manning when you can't even see her ears? This happens in every single post and I don't really understand it. I do enjoy reading this blog quite a bit and glad that Portland has a widely-read, actively-updated street style blog, but I think it could benefit from a more economical use of text. I have friends who read the blog who have noted the same.

ReplyDeleteI think you might also benefit from a more economical use of text!
RE: the first anon
ReplyDeleteI write down everything they are wearing that day, regardless of if it is visible in the photograph. I think it's more interesting.
Thanks!
